ROCK MUSIC

Grey mute rocks dull with dried up moss

morph into million caves of asphalt

where dreams,breathless, formless, lifeless,

sleep amid avalanches, dust storms, cloud bursts !

Earth cracks, fire spews, rocks melt, clouds mushroom

Eternal dance of elemental fury…

 

Eons later….

Rocks cool, earth heals , stones sing

In a glazed shallow cup in the rock,

violently fashioned with

the brute force of fire, ice, wind, water,

dewdrops of hope and joy

nestle the song of life!
